Fallout 76’s Playable Ghouls: A Step Closer To Becoming The Walton Goggins Of The Wasteland
You can soon play as a Ghoul in Fallout 76. This will come in a free update in early 2025.
To unlock it, you must be level 50 and do a new quest. As a Ghoul, you will look ugly. Some groups will not trust you because of how you look. But you can use the bad air in the wasteland to help you.
You can change how your Ghoul looks. You can also pick new Ghoul perk cards. This is a big change from how you make a character now. It is a good add-on to the game.
People are very excited about this news. They love the new Fallout TV show. They really like the Ghoul main character, Cooper. Walton Goggins plays him.
I played as a Ghoul for a bit recently. I also talked to Bill LaCoste in London. He is the top maker of Fallout 76. I asked him if they planned for the update to match the TV show.
“It just happened that way,” he said. “We did know the show would have Cooper in it. We thought people would like him. This is because he is played by Walton Goggins. And because he is a Ghoul in the show.”
“We wanted to let people be Ghouls for a while. This was before the show,” he said. “It’s just chance that Cooper got popular at the same time we had this idea. We were already planning to do this. But now that everyone loves Cooper, it makes this new feature even more awesome.”
Fallout 76 will get more than just playable Ghouls. A big update called Skyline Valley is coming this week.
It will add new quests and features. It will also make the game’s map bigger for the first time.
You can read more about Skyline Valley later. I talked to LaCoste about it and other Fallout 76 stuff. That interview will come out when the update launches on June 12.
New players who want to play before Skyline Valley comes out can do that now. Fallout 76 is on many systems.
You can play it on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. It also works on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5. This is because of backwards compatibility.
