Does Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt offer crossplay?
Indeed, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt does supports crossplay; however, as of the current moment, players cannot team up with friends across different platforms. It’s somewhat intricate, but we’ll elaborate:
Presently, lobbies and matches in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt include participants from both PC and PS5, indicating partial compatibility between the two platforms.
However, this capability does not extend to the social aspects, such as team formation, friend addition, and unified group play in Trios matches. The compatibility is solely aimed at enhancing matchmaking efficiency by broadening the player pool.

Developer’s Crossplatform Take
Developer Sharkmob’s statement on this matter is as follows:
Crossplay functionality in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is limited to the Prague map where matches occur. Thus, once a match begins, you may encounter players from different platforms.

However, the Elysium, which serves as our game lobby, is platform-specific, preventing players from grouping up with those on other platforms while in the Elysium. Nonetheless, once you’ve entered Prague, you can engage in battles with them.
The same limitation applies to cross-progression; even if players log into the same account, their progression remains tied to specific consoles.
Therefore, crossplay is limited to the extent that you can engage in matches with players from different platforms, but you lack the ability to choose specific players—meaning no teaming up with friends between PC and PS5, sadly.
Currently, any vampire alliances you form must be restricted to players on the same platform as you. Nevertheless, we can still experience the timeless frustrations of players using mouse-and-keyboard clashing with those using controllers.
Will Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt support crossplay in the future?
As of now, there’s no definitive answer regarding whether Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt will introduce full crossplay functionality for forming teams between different consoles in the future, as developer Sharkmob has not provided any comments on the matter.
This feature might rely on public demand, but currently, there’s no way to predict if or when crossplay and cross-platform support will be implemented.
