What is Fireball Roulette? How Is It Different from Traditional Roulette
For as long as casinos have been around, roulette has been among the most popular games. It’s a game of pure luck and chance, completely dependent on where a little ball ends up on a spinning wheel. Yet, people have enjoyed it for centuries.

Naturally, roulette in today’s world isn’t the same as it has been in the past. For starters, you no longer need to visit an actual casino to play it. There is a large collection of online roulette sites where you can play for real money. There are also new variations of the game, most notably Fireball Roulette, which is a recent creation of Evolution Gaming.
It has put a new twist on a classic game. Fireball Roulette is actually a live-dealer game that also combines elements of slot machines. But since it’s new and a little different, it’s worth a closer look.
What is Fireball Roulette?
Just like traditional Roulette, you place your bets and watch the wheel spin. The main difference is that in each round, the automatic wheel triggers an RNG slot machine that reveals between 3 and 7 Bonus Numbers, giving you a chance to unlock the Bonus Game.
If you hit one of those Bonus Numbers, you receive a Fireball Bonus. The game includes a grid of 149 multiplier pockets. The ball launches into the grid and lands on either a Regular or Double Multiplier. Score a Regular Multiplier for an instant payout while a Double Multiplier doubles all values and launches the ball again!
Game Play
Of course, the goal of Fireball Roulette is to predict the number where the ball will land by placing one or more bets that include that number.
The wheel features numbers 1 to 36, along with a single zero. To begin, you bet on spots on the grid, whether that’s a single number or a range of numbers. In Fireball Roulette, as the wheel spins the ball, the dealer pulls a lever that generates Bonus Numbers for that round.

How Does a Slot Machine Come Into Play?
Once the slot machine reels stop, a random Bonus Number will be revealed, ranging from 3 to 7. This number determines how many Fireball symbols will be distributed across the game round. Each Fireball symbol is then randomly assigned to a bet spot, where it transforms into a fiery lava animation.
Only one Fireball symbol can appear per numbered bet spot. In some cases, the lava animation may unveil a random multiplier between 2x and 20x, giving you the chance to enter the Bonus Game and boost your winnings by applying the accumulated multiplier during the Bonus round!
Winning and Losing
How do you win at Fireball Roulette? It’s similar to traditional roulette. The ball will eventually settle into one of the numbered pockets on the wheel. If your bet is on the winning number, you’ll win 25:1 on your wager. Otherwise, you will lose your wager.
However, Fireball Roulette has an extra twist. If the ball lands on a Bonus Number with a Fireball symbol where you’ve placed your bet, you’ll be taken to the Bonus Game. Any multiplier assigned to that Bonus Number will apply, boosting your accumulated multiplier during the Bonus round!
The Bonus Round
In the bonus round, the ball is launched into a grid filled with multiplier pockets on the floor. The grid has 149 pockets, each containing either a Regular or Double multiplier. If the ball lands on a Regular multiplier, that will be your multiplier for the round. If it lands on a Double multiplier, all Regular multipliers on the grid are doubled, and the ball is launched again.
This process of relaunching the ball and doubling the multipliers can continue until the multipliers reach a maximum of 2,500x. When this happens, all Double multipliers are replaced by 2,500x multipliers.
If a multiplier was assigned to the Bonus Number, the total multiplier accumulated during the Bonus game will be further multiplied by that Bonus Number’s multiplier.
It might sound a little confusing, but at its heart, roulette is a simple game. After a couple of rounds, you should have no problem understanding and enjoying the fun twists of Fireball Roulette.
