Fix 1: Update the Game
Update Fortnite to the latest version. Check for updates on Epic Games.
Fix 2: Verify Game Files
You can quickly check the game files with Epic Games. Verifying the files can solve crashing problems.
- Open your library in Epic Games.
- Click on the three dots next to Fortnite.
- Select Manage and then Verify. Wait for the verification to finish.
- Restart the game to see if it fixes the issue.
Fix 3: Check system requirements and adjust graphics.
Stop Fortnite from crashing by lowering the graphics settings. Try reducing the resolution to see if it improves.
Your computer might need to handle the game better. Check if your PC meets Fortnite’s minimum system requirements.
