Two words, one result
Askew and tilt do exactly the same thing. Google wired both to the same response, which is why half the internet argues about which one is the “real” one. Neither. They’re twins.
The default lean is about two degrees to the right. Small enough that a lot of people scroll for a bit, feel vaguely wrong, and only work out why when they look at the edge of the screen.

The slider goes to twenty-five degrees in either direction, which is well past the point of being usable and directly into the point of being funny. Drag it and the spirit level at the bottom of the mock page moves with it, because a crooked page deserves a proper instrument.
Drift is the one worth trying. It never settles, just leans slowly back and forth like a boat, and it’s genuinely unpleasant after about ninety seconds.
Askew gravity
People search for the two together constantly, so it’s here. Tilt the page and then let the whole thing slide off the bottom edge. It’s a combination that only makes sense once you’ve seen google gravity on its own.
