• A Twitter user, Crusader3456, highlighted that Sony’s tweets about the trailer from the 2021 showcase were also deleted.

• The only remaining mention is a general tweet promoting several games from that event.

Uncertain Status of the Remake

The situation leaves fans uncertain about whether the project is still in development. There are two possible explanations:

• It might simply be a routine adjustment by Sony’s social media team.

Sony Responds to Trailer Removal

On September 29, Sony addressed the removal of the teaser trailer. A spokesperson explained that it was delisted due to licensing issues. They clarified:

• “As part of normal business, we delist assets with licensed music when the licenses expire.”

• The trailer’s music appears to be the iconic Star Wars theme, owned by Disney.
