Is NHL 23 Crossplatform?
Yes, and some no. For the first time ever, NHL 23 supports cross-platform play. However, there’s a limitation.
Cross-platform matchmaking in NHL 23 allows players with the same generation of Playstation and Xbox consoles to play against each other. PS4 and Xbox One users can play together, as can Xbox Series X|S and PS5 users.
Although cross-platform matchmaking lets players compete online, it does not let players invite friends from different consoles to their game. EA has suggested that they are working towards adding more crossplay features in future NHL games.
