Luigi’s Mansion 4: What Lies Ahead for Luigi?

    Luigi Mansion 4

Luigi’s Mansion 4 is a game available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. It was developed by Next Level Games and published by Nintendo. This is the fourth installment in the Luigi’s Mansion series.

    Storyline

During Easter, Mario and Luigi are staying at Professor Elvin Gadd’s Gloomy Manor while Princess Peach and her friends are on vacation in Bubblaine.

They watch a rugby game in the evening, and E. Gadd asks them to repair the garage’s central heating, offering to pay. Mario declines the payment, saying they will do it for free.

After a tiring day, they head to bed but are woken by a door slamming downstairs. They hurry downstairs to find a mysterious bounty hunter holding a portrait of Hellen Gravely. The hunter draws a shotgun, and E. Gadd attempts to fight him off, telling Mario and Luigi to go back to their room.

    Gameplay Experience

Like its predecessors, this game also has Luigi catching ghosts using the Poltergust S-88ATION. However, this version expands from two-player to four-player co-op, introducing Mario and another new character, Slario. Luigi now wields a device called the “DS Cry,” an improvement over the previous Virtual Boo.

A feature from the first Luigi’s Mansion game on the Nintendo Gamecube, the Elemental Medal, returns. Once Luigi or Mario secures the medal, they can harness the Poltergust to capture Elemental Ghosts, tapping into their fire, water, or ice abilities to swiftly lower other ghosts’ HP and make them easier to catch.

    Ghostly Skyscraper

ScareScraper returns, similar to before. It allows up to sixteen players to join in cooperative multiplayer, tackling either 5, 10, or a random selection of 2 to 10 floors.

Players have five minutes to complete each floor, but the Rooftop gives them roughly ten minutes. This mode features randomly created floors that present different challenges such as Capture the Ghosts!, Find the Toads!, and Collect the Money!.

    Screamscraper: A Horror Adventure

A party mode for multiplayer games features four groups of four players each. They compete across different stages. Each team has two minutes to gather the most Slappies, collect the highest number of coins on floaties in a pool, steer clear of a wooden castle’s pellet trap, and hit the most targets on a spinning wooden pirate wheel to win.

    Important Characters

    Ready for Gameplay

    • **Luigi** – The timid and silly Luigi returns to catch ghosts. This time, he’s accompanied by three others, including his brother. He’s fortunate, to say the least.
    • **Mario** – Typically the one who is captured in Luigi’s tales, Mario faces no threats this time. He participates in the quest as a playable character and relaxes in E. Gadd’s lab with Polterpup.
    • **Gooigi** – Gooigi, a gooey green duplicate of Luigi, is slow and simple. Created by Professor E. Gadd, he helps discover hidden elements in certain spots.
    • **Slario** – Known as “Slario” by E. Gadd for reasons not explained, he sports a “G” on his cap. Like Gooigi, Slario is a gooey version of Mario but appears more composed and polished, possibly a result of E. Gadd’s modification of Bowser’s vision of evil turned to good.
